The Evan Cousineau RW Age Group Meet was held this past
weekend at Tesoro High School. There was a small presence of AZOT
swimmers, but they made their names known with some excellent
swimming! The three girls who swam in the 10 and under category
were Leora Rose, Siena Springborn, and Alaina Thomas. Leora swam
the 50 freestyle in 36.74, giving her 11th place overall. Siena
finished 3rd overall in the 50 backstroke! Alaina Thomas also had a
great 50yd butterfly swim.
Davis Wong and Jason Schreiber competed in the 200 IM,
taking 1st and 2nd place! Davis finished the 100 IM in 1:26.64,
receiving his Blue Time! Jason reached his Blue Time in the 100 yd
butterfly, finishing first in the race! The team came away with
many victories in personal bests. Great job AZOT!
